Formerly Alberta College of Art and Design, Alberta University of the Arts educates and tests the boundaries of common thought, and the four Schools – School of Visual Art, School of Communication Design, School of Craft and Emerging Media, School of Critical and Creative Studies – are dedicated to innovative and contemporary art, craft and design programs. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and be challenged to fearlessly explore what moves, drives, and implores the Alberta University of the Arts community to see the world differently. The studio-based education model features 11 four-year BFA and BDes undergraduate degrees, and one MFA post-graduate degree program.
